my approach to color grading:
respect and sublime the dop’s work
every frame is a photo ; light is its origin and its destination
simplicity beats complexity and broad beats narrow
most of the process is done with simple photographic tools adjusting the exposure, contrast and color balance
find the right direction before nailing the intensity
question assumptions, test the limits and embrace the process
